College student’s perspective on the popularity of Korean Drama in

Indonesia.
Korea is one of the most popular countries in Indonesia. Its unique culture and music
industry are widespread all over the world, one of which is Indonesia. In addition to culture and
music, Korea is capable of producing dramas which can incorporate cultural elements so that
from the drama, people will know how Korean people's habits are. In Indonesia, there are a lot
of Korean fans or what is usually called kpopers, namely people who like Korea. Getting people
to like Korea is very easy therefore kpopers are widespread. From there people began to
recognize Korean dramas. Korean people are able to make such good dramas with light stories
that are easily liked by teenagers and adults.
