FADE IN:

INT. OFFICE - DAY

We see JENNA, a young professional woman, sitting at her desk, surrounded by her computer,
phone, and various other devices. She is typing away on her computer, answering emails, and
taking phone calls all at once.

JENNA (to herself)


I have to finish this report before the meeting.

Her phone rings, she picks it up and answers.

JENNA
(on the phone)
Hello?

FRIEND (on the phone)


Hey Jenna, it's me. What's up?

JENNA
(distracted)
Oh, hey. Not much. Just trying to get this report done before the meeting.

FRIEND (on the phone)


Sounds like you're busy. How about we catch up later?

JENNA
(absent-mindedly)
Yeah, sure. Let me know when.

FRIEND (on the phone)


Sure thing. Talk to you later.

Jenna hangs up the phone and goes back to work.

INT. JENNA'S APARTMENT - DAY

Jenna comes home from work, exhausted. She plops down on the couch and starts to check her
phone. She sees that she has missed calls and messages from her friends and family.

JENNA (to herself)


I'll call them back tomorrow.

INT. OFFICE - DAY (WEEK LATER)

Jenna is still working hard and neglecting her personal life. She has been missing out on her
friends and family's plans, and they have started to feel neglected.

INT. JENNA'S APARTMENT - DAY

Jenna is sitting on her couch, staring at her phone. She sees that her friends have invited her to
a party, but she had declined because she was too busy with work. She realizes that she has
been neglecting her personal life, and it starts to weigh on h
