Dear Parent,

Greetings from the campus!

We at BVRTSE aim to provide holistic education to our learners. Going beyond books and applying the
concepts learnt in classrooms to real life scenarios help our students to not only learn better but also develop
valuable life skills. Life skills help students build confidence, provide them with tools important for
development, and find newer ways of thinking and problem-solving.

As a part of the learning process at BVRTSE, our Grade 9 students have been offered a unique opportunity to
experience and solve real life problems through an activity ‘Business Challenge’.

Our learners have taken up the responsibility of raising funds for a student led activity, an upcoming event in
December, called Sports Night. To earn the required sum of money, our students have gone through a rigorous
process of chalking out business plans, doing market surveys, receiving and working on feedbacks, pitching
their business plans for a required sum of investments, at the same time working in groups to collaborate and
coordinate amongst themselves.

As a part of the Business Challenge, three qualifying groups will be setting up stalls in the school to sell an
array of menu options to students, teachers and other staff members in school. Please note that the items on the
menu are curated by the students and they have gone through a process of intense feedback mechanism from a
panel jury of restaurant owners and food experts.

With great enthusiasm, our Grade 9 learners are ready to serve each child and adult coming to their stall.
We encourage you to let your child be part of this experience.

The Business Challenge stalls will be put up on Tuesday, 13th December 2022 during the school hours. The
maximum amount a child can carry to buy food items from different stalls is ₹ 300.

We will appreciate if you can send the required amount with the child.
