To whom it may concern,

My name is Alex Moreno, and I’m writing to apply for the Budget Technician
(Cost Report) (m/f/d) (4069) position. I became aware of
this position via subscription to Nordex Group Talent Community
maillist.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree at Economics at Universidad

Pública de Navarra in 2011 with a subsequent Master at Financial
Markets, with one full year academic Erasmus experience in
Austria. I made my internship as a cashier in a large commercial
bank and explore other finance related positions. My last 5 years
of experience were accounting/financial forecasting-budgeting
related work at IBM in Mexico. Recently, since 2018, I have been
developing myself as a tax and accounting advisor in my
hometown in Spain, acquiring great expertise of regional tax
requirements and compliance with IFRS guidelines.

I’ve developed a solid experience in cost financial analysis,

creating and updating forecast with necessary weekly updates
after receiving input from division team leads, consolidation
information from different close regions, comparing deviations
against Budget plan, providing quality ad-hoc reports and
guidance of the action items in place for the board of directors during
the monthy forecast review call.

I possess other skills necessary to be a successful financial analyst

apart from proficient in Excel which means running and creating
functions, pivot tables, reporting charts in cloud and currently
programming SQL queries as part of constant learning and
development of my persona in this fast pacing evironment. I would
like to reinforce my attachment to a fast decision-making and
critical solving scenarios, almost essential for any finance related
position.

Since I have been working for a large company, I’m used to it’s
idiosyncrasy and requirements like having relationship with big
working teams, fluent communitcation, multicultural soft skills and
dealing with delivering work under tight deadlines with great
attention to detail and always trying to improve time executions
and ease of metholody. As per my previous work experiences and
my background, I consider I fit in better in large company like
Nordex with a great career path, specially in a Finance department.

These skills, combined with my good academic record (available as

per request) proactive attitude and the willingness to sucess and
progress professionally, make me well-suited to be a financial
analyst for Nordex.
