SIGNIFICANCE OF TUTORIAL CLASSES

Tutorials are often not optional because they give you an opportunity to go deeper into concepts.
Tutorials are important for your learning because you can:
• Ask your faculty questions and get clarification.
• Discuss the topics and concepts that will enhance your understanding of the lecture material.
• Improves academic performance: Prepare for and/or review CIE and SEE.
• Helps overcome learning obstacles: Clarify any concepts that you might not understand which will
encourages the freedom to ask questions.
• Improves self-esteem and confidence.
• Challenges those who need it: Tutorial classes helps slow learners or students finding subject
difficult
8 reach their full potential.
TUTORIAL GUIDELINES

• Separate question bank will be given for the tutorials.

• End of every module – 2 hours tutorial will be conducted.
• Tutorial hour is exclusively dedicated for revision and class test.
• Student should maintain separate notebook for each tutorial subject.
• After the completion of tutorial hour, all tutorial books will be evaluated before the next
tutorial.
• Tutorial books will be returned to the students well before the semester end exams (SEE).
9
ASSESSMENT

• Three CIEs – Each for 40 marks

• Assignment – 10 marks
• Average of all three CIEs + Assignment = Final CIE marks
