Area and Population in
Uttarakhand
u The geographical area of the state is 53483 sq. km and the
terrain and topography of the state is largely hilly with large
areas under snow cover and steep slopes. Uttarakhand
State comprises of 02 regions 13 districts, 78 Tehsils and
95 community development blocks.

u As per the Aadhar Statistics the Uttarakhand population in


2022/2023 is 11,090,425 (11.09 Millions) as compared to
last census 2011 is 10,086,292. Growth rate of 9.96 percent
of population increased from year 2011 in Uttarakhand.
Area and population in
Karnataka
u Karnataka extends to about 750 km from North to South
and about 400 km from East to West. Karnataka's total land
area is 1,91,791 sq.km, accounting for 5.83 percent of the
total area of the country (32.88 lakh sq.km) and ranks
eighth among major States in terms of size.

u Total population of Karnataka as per lastest census data


is 61,095,297 of which male and female are 30,966,657
and 30,128,640 respectively.
