The information in the catalog is organized so it is easy to find information about Testing

at Atlantic Cape Community College. Under the large "testing" portion of the catalog,
there are some sub-headings that include information about the tests. For example,
some sub-headings include specific types of tests at Atlantic Cape Community College
and other necessary information about the tests, like fees, services, make up, credits,
etc. There is also a portion about "Tutoring Services" that informs the reader/student
about the tutoring at Atlantic Cape Community College.

The rationale the writer had for his or her way of organizing the information is based on
what knowledge is needed to be known first. After the brief introduction about testing,
there is a sub-heading about the testing fees and testing services. The testing fees
are important to know prior to taking the test. The testing services offer an overview of
what the testing services, which are covered in next few sub-headings are. The next
three sub-headings are the 3 tests available, which includes the ACCUPLACER, ESL
Placement Tests, and Nursing and Radiologic Technology Entrance Test. Each one
includes a brief summary on information about the test like what the test is, what is on
the test, and what it is used for. The next portion includes information about credits for
classes and how to take a make-up test. The next big sub-heading is all about tutoring
for classes. This sub-heading has information about how tutoring at Atlantic Cape
Community College works and information about the Learning Assistance Centers
(LAC) and the LAC Skills Labs.

I believe that the patterns used by the writer meets the needs of the Catalog readers.
The “Testing” portion of the catalog is easy for the reader find the information they need
about testing. I also believe it provides a sufficient amount of information for the reader
to understand what they need to know about testing and tutoring at Atlantic Cape
Community College.
