REVIEWER IN MATH

1. Circle- is the set of all points in the plane that are the same distance away from a specific
point, called the center.
PARTS OF THE CIRCLE:
2. Radius- The distance from the center of the circle to its outer rim.
3. Chord- A line segment whose endpoints are on a circle.
4. Diameter- A chord that passes through the center of the circle. The length of a diameter is
two times the length of a radius.
5. Circumference- It is the length of one circuit along the circle itself.
6. Tangent- Is a straight line that touches the circle at exactly one point.
7. Secant- Is an extended chord, a straight line cutting the circle at two points.
8. Point of Tangency- The point where a tangent line touches the circle.
9. Arc- is any connected part of the circle's circumference.
10. Sector- is a region bounded by two radius and an arc lying between the radius.
11. Segment- Is a region bounded by a chord and an arc lying between the chord's endpoints.
