PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. Project Title: School Intramurals --- Theme: Strengthening camaraderie, culture, and
unity amidst the pandemic through healthy body and minds
II. Rationale:
Relationships at home, at school, and in the community are all significantly
impacted by the pandemic and even further discovering our very own Filipino culture.
During the epidemic, we saw firsthand the harmful results of exclusion and
isolation. Being in good physical and mental health is essential to holistic health
management. Considering contemporary understandings of the human mind, it is crucial
to look out for students' physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional welfare. The provision
of physical activities may act as a catalyst for encouraging student participation in
activities that emphasize physical fitness, reduce stress and anxiety disorders among
students, develop sportsmanship, foster good will among students, and relive culture
through Laro ng Lahi (such as Sipa, Patintero, Sungka Tumbang Preso, etc.) and cheer
dance with Philippine Literature themes.
We now have a better knowledge of the importance of social connection to overall
wellbeing. Through such activities, socially separated students may be reunited, and it can
also provide a healthy and productive outlet for students' participation. Our objective is to
provide everyone with the opportunity to participate in sports, culture, and the arts in a
welcoming environment that focuses on recreation without sacrificing health guidelines
against COVID 19.

III.Objectives:
a. To give all students plenty of opportunities to engage in healthy,
culturally, and wholesome activities
b. To give each student a positive outlet from the strain of senior high school
academic activities
c. To promote fair play and good sportsmanship.
d. To enable the growth of sports knowledge and tactics through involvement
in a competitive setting
e. To improve health and physical fitness through participation in satisfying
culturally aligned activities.

IV. Date & Venue:

November 2, 3 and 4, 2022 in Bamboosetum Court, Brgy Talon Dos half- court

V. Expected Participants: 10 teachers, 1 Principal, 4 judges,115 Gr. 11 students, 87 Gr.
