Jonah Mae Lanuza 11-HUMSS Creative Non- Fiction

Character Sketch

They are the ones who keep me motivated in everyday life, and they
made my quarantine day better than I could have imagined. My sanctuary, my home,
my best friend, and my biggest reason for believing that anything is possible. They
taught me that not everything will be fine, and that's okay. They are the people who will
give you hope in your darkest hour, who will show you a glimpse of love if you are losing
yourself, and who will help you grow into the person you want to be. I was grateful to
meet such great artists; I can see myself through their hard works, I can see that I can
be whoever I am if I would ever believed in myself. They are not just artists who provide
their fans a great welcoming but also with genuine love, care, and endless support.

I admire them not only for their talent, appearance, fame, or the high-
priced brands they promote. but because they genuinely care about those around them,
particularly the environment. They are the artists who used their platform to persuade
people all over the world to make a difference. I recall when they sent assistance to the
Australian wildfire, as well as when they helped donate to the disaster caused by the
flood in Thailand. I admire them for being themselves, for having genuine feelings, and
for being true to themselves. When asked if they wanted to do anything to make their
fans more supportive, they only said that they wanted to do their best. It didn't matter to
them whether they ever achieved anything or not. That made my heart skip a beat as a
fan because of how nice they are to their fans; they didn't even pressure us to vote for
them in order for them to win awards. They are idols, but it appears that they treat
themselves as ordinary people like us; they are famous, but I have never heard them
brag about anything. Being down to earth makes me feel more loved by them.

They are now known as the "World's Biggest Girl Group," a world changer
who defies stereotypes in the K-pop industry. Even though they were from Korea, it is
ironic that they were not well-known there. Girl Crush is their concept, which is not
widely known in South Korea. Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa are the names of the four
members of the group. Jisoo is well-known for her goddess-like appearance and as a
lead vocalist. Jennie, the main rapper, sub vocalist, and center who studied in New
Zealand, is the main rapper, sub vocalist, and center. Rose is the group's tallest
member, hailing from Melbourne, Australia, but of Korean ancestry. She is also the
group's lead dancer and vocalist. Finally, Lisa is the most famous K-pop girl soloist right
now, the group's maknae; the lead rapper, main dancer, and the only foreigner member
in their band with Thai ancestry.
You may not have realized it, but they only have a few songs, but the majority of
them are undeniably hits. Despite having fewer songs, they became the most
subscribed artist in the world last year, had the most streamed song by a girl band, and
had the most viewed K-pop group music video on YouTube, with 1.8 billion views. They
have set numerous World Guinness records and received numerous international
awards from all over the world. This allows them to demonstrate how powerful they are
in the music industry. They plan to take over the world, including the fashion industry.
As a fan, I'd love to brag about them all if they couldn't. This is how I feel about them,
and I will always be there for them. As a fan, I was grateful and proud of what they had
accomplished in their lives. I've seen their ups and downs and will always be grateful to
know how far they've come. I will always be proud and grateful for the opportunity to get
to know them and Stan them as an artist. They gave me a lot to remember, a lot of
memories to cherish, and lessons to apply in everyday life. I will be eternally grateful to
them for shaping me into the person I am today. Thank you BLACKPINK.
