BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

The author was born on November 12, 1983 in Brgy. Cajagwayan, San Policarpo, Eastern

Samar, to Galo Carpina Jatulan and Gloria Caspe Quimada. He is the fourth among the six siblings.

He completed his primary education at the Arteche Central Elementary School (ACES) on

2007 as first honorable mention and finished his secondary education at the Arteche National High

School (ANHS) on 2001 as Class Valedictorian.

Inspired by two of his high school teachers and driven by his desire to become a public

servant, he took up Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in General Science at the

Eastern Samar State University – Main Campus as an academic scholar and a consistent academic

awardee. In 2005 he earned his diploma and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)

a year after his graduation due to error in his birth certificate.

From 2007 to 2009, he worked as full-time science teacher at the Holy Cross Academy,

Oras, Eastern Samar where he earned various experiences that helped him improve his teaching

competence. He then became a job order teacher at Arteche National High School for six months

and subsequently moved to Alugan National School of Craftsmanship and Home Industries

(ANSCHI), Alugan, San Policarpo, Eastern Samar where he became a regular permanent faculty in

2010.

At present he holds a Teacher III position at ANSCHI dedicating his service to his fellow

Sanpolihanons.
