The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has been holding “Beyond 5G Promotion
Strategy Roundtable” since January 2020. In response to the recommendations from the roundtable,
MIC has released “Beyond 5G Promotion Strategy―Roadmap towards 6G―.” (June 2020)

6G Activities
6G discussions are active around the world.
NTT DOCOMO is one of the active players and published its 6G White Paper.
Various discussions will be shared and integrated to set out a direction and standardization will proceed.
