INTRODUCTION

Background of the study

Ethical practices are one of the important things we need to learn as students, Large

number of professionals had their licenses revoked due to ethical related issues. As a student or

an intern, we need to learn ethical practices before we step into the medical workspace to prevent

ethical issues. According to Tom L. Beauchamp and James F. Childress, the c ommon

issues in medical ethics are Do-Not-Resuscitate Orders, Doctor and Patient Confidentiality,

Malpractice and Negligence, and Access to Care which result in professionals losing their license

for their incompetence.

This study will analyze the level of awareness of radiologic technology student interns on

ethical practices to see if they do ethical procedures properly. This research will also show their

compliance with ethical procedures and how they manage to work properly. The healthcare

industry faces a variety of ethical challenges, which are more obvious in the case of public

healthcare sectors during pandemics and other health catastrophes. Taking this into account, the

concerned study emphasized examining the moral conundrums that the public healthcare sectors

face globally as they attempt to combat the COVID-19 pandemic conditions at hand. Thematic

analytical framework and the inductive approach were used to examine and interpret the

secondary and qualitative data that was gathered for the relevant study. There is strong evidence

that the public health care system around the world has been struggling with a lack of funding

and the distribution of responsibility to the care provider. Inconsistencies have been found in

how public health care ethics are applied. It is impossible to dispute the significance of ethics in

the public healthcare system, however, during this pandemic emergency, problems with

accountability, resource allocation, and loss of faith in healthcare services have been recognized.
Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a seminar to better prepare public health institutions

to handle situations like the COVID-19 pandemic. Especially even student interns need to

emphasize the relevance of ethical practices

demographic profile

Related literature

The following statements given are related to our study about compliance with ethical

practices which is found very useful for the proponents in making the subjects.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate how trainees and experienced radiologists

perceive and respond to ethical dilemmas. We set out to identify common ethical conundrums

and how practitioners deal with them regularly. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Between

September 17, 2016, and October 31, 2016, a questionnaire on ethics was issued by email

invitation to 1569 radiologists and radiography trainees in a database institutionally maintained

for Continuing Medical Education purposes. As a result, 424 radiologists and trainees completed

the survey, representing a 27% response rate (424/1569). When asked if they had seen an ethical

issue, 363 of them responded; 203 (56%) had. When a mass was identified, the phrasing of the

reports was not handled consistently. Regarding disclosure, radiologists in training were more

likely to inform patients of their own and other radiologists' errors than practicing radiologists.

292 (81%) of the 362 respondents who provided an answer to the question of whether they

would notify the group director of a colleague's negligence said they would, however, trainees

were less likely to do so than practicing radiologists. Ethical Dilemmas in Radiology: Survey of
