Province Tourist Destinations
Abra Casa Real
 The fort built by Spain, made of bricks
still standing today.
 The upper part of the facade clearly
shows a Spanish Coat of Arms, a symbol
that reminds people of the golden years
of Bucay.
 The fort was associated with the creation
of Abra in 1846 as a province separate
from Ilocos with Bucay as its capital.
Boliney Hot Spring
 It is located at Bani, Boliney Abra.
 Improvements to the Bani hot spring
include the concreteness of the road
from the road down to the hot spring
and towards the picnic table and
cottage overlooking the river.
Festivals
Kawayan Festival
 The Kawayan Festival is to showcase the arts,
crafts and culture of the locals and
indigenous people. It is a way to preserve
and promote the wealth of the community.
 There is also a showcase of the dance
performance of a group of men. They used
bamboo sticks. An exhibition of taekwondo
stunts was performed by international
champions.
Dapil Festival
 It is a four-day festival wherein it takes place
from the 20th to the 23rd of February each
year.
 It aims to restore the essence of
"Panagdapil" as a convention of excellence
that reflects the rich culture and traditions of
the People of Bangued.

Tugot ni Angalo Arya Abra Festival

 It’s located at Kabaruyan, San Quintin,
Abra.
 It is considered by the people of San
Quintin as their greatest tourist
attraction that tourists may not want to
see due to the distance and the lack of
knowledge of tourists about the Ilocano
mythology that exists in this Cordillera
province of Abra.
 The cultural festival “Arya Abra” has become
a traditional annual festival aimed not only
for outsiders but also Abra natives.
 It is a great week of exercise, not only to
attract tourists but also to enlighten all
Abreños to take a pride in their heritage and
rich culture of their province.

Apayao Apayao River
 The Apayao River has been dubbed "one
of the cleanest rivers in the country".
 It originates from a vast natural body
located on the western side of the
Cordillera Mountain Range and travels
through the center of Apayao, passing
through the towns of Calanasan,
Kabugao, Luna, Pudiol, Flora, and Coner
until it reaches coastal town of Abulug in Say-am-Talip-Tadoc Festival
Cagayan. At that point, the river meets
the Pacific Ocean.
Lussok Crystal Cave
 Lussok Cave metamorphosed in one of
Luna's beloved attractions.
 Upon entering the cave, glimmering
limestone formations loom over the
pitch black river.
Bayugao Falls
 The cool clean waterfall of Bayugao is a
refreshing tourist attraction, about 4 km
away from Poblacion.
 These natural pools provide clean, cool
mountain spring water for all to enjoy
swimming.

Apayao Day
 They celebrate this to commemorate with joy
the very important contributions of EKB that
made possible the separation of a province of
Kalinga-Apayao.
 The celebration is in accordance with a
Provincial Ordinance adopted in 2017 by the
Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Apayao.
 This festival celebrates in every 14th day of
February.
 It is in celebration of the anniversary of the
founding of the province and the greatest
festival or celebration of Isnag A festival that
features and begins with Isnag's traditional
way of thanking the Unseen Supreme Being
called "ALAWAGAN" performed and started
with rituals accompanied by pep songs, folk
chants and dances called "TALIP and TAD-
DO".

Province Tourist Destinations
Benguet Itogon Hot Springs
 The Association of Swimming Pool
Owners and Livelihood of Itogon owned
and operated these pools.
 It’s located in Barangay Poblacion in
Itogon municipality.
Mount Pulag
 It is a 17.4 kilometer moderate
trafficking out and back trail located near
Kabayan, Benguet that offers the
opportunity to see wildlife and is rated as
poor. The trail is mainly used for hiking.
 It is the third highest mountain in the
Philippines.
Kennon Road
 It is the one of major access roads
leading to the Benguet Province.
 It provides the shortest route from
Rosario to Baguio City with a total length
of 33.7 km.
Ifugao Philippine War Memorial Shrine
 The shrine is carefully protected and
cared for by the people of the province
so that the spirit of fellowship, courage
and tenacity will live on every visitor to
the area.
 It is located at Linda, Kiangan.
 It is a tribute to Filipinos and Americans
who gave their lives during World War II.
Pula and Cambulo Native Village
 It was a reasonably strenuous walk
through the jaw-dropping wonderful
rice-terraces view.
 They also offer homestays if you want
to spend a truly immersive night or two
in the village.
Banaue Rice Terraces
 Ifugao Rice Terraces reflects the perfect
mix of physical, socio-cultural, economic,
religious, and political environments. In
fact, it is a living cultural scene with
unparalleled beauty.
 Ifugao Rice Terraces represents an
indefinite description of an ancient
civilization that overcame the various
challenges and obstacles posed by
modernization.

Festivals
Strawberry Festival
 It has won numerous tourism awards and
even achieved a Guinness World Record.
 The Strawberry Festival is an avenue for local
government and its partners to uplift the
community.
 Former Mayor Hilarion Pawid founded the
first Strawberry Festival in 1981.
Adivay Festival
 This festival is a celebration for the
province’s abundant blessings and gratitude
for a safer year from disasters and calamities,
and an occasion to pray for better years to
come for Benguet and its people.
 Adivay Festival is an Ibaloi word which means
“Coming together and having fun”.
 It is an annual event in Agri-tourism
dedicated to the rediscovery of the creative
talent of the people of Benguet, their rich
history, culture, art, goods and industry.
Imbayah Festival
 Imbayah is a cultural festival celebrating the
well-established conventions of the Ifugao
Indigenous tribes of Banaue, Philippines.
 Imbayah praises the collection and merging of
customs with gratitude to mollify the deep
world for arranging a good harvest.
Tungoh and Hungduan Festival
 It is a cultural festival celebrated annually
every third week of April, lasting about 3-4
days.
 “Hungdu” means “a stopping place” for
travelers.
 This festival is held to promote the tourism
industry of Hungduan, Ifugao, along with
various tourist spots.
 In this festival, you will experience the rich
and unique traditions and cultural skills of
the people.

Province Tourist Destinations
Kalinga Mabilong Weavers Village
 standing next to the street, is the focus
of the region’s unique ethnic weaving
industry.
 The village of Mabilong in the town of
Lubuagan is a weaving community of
Kalinga that faithfully maintains the
cultural expression of the display of
traditional artwork as their noble source
of income, livelihood, and work.
Buscalan Village
 This village has about 126 households
and a voting 668 population.
 Buscalan is a small village located in a
some kind of a laid back town of
Tinglayan.
 Tourists often visit this village just to see
and tattoo their bodies on the legendary
Apo Whang-Od.
Palan-ah Falls and Hot Springs
 It is one of the best attractions in
Kalinga.
 It’s located at Tulgao, West Tinglayan.
 It is a unique attraction, because they
are close together. You can enjoy the
cold water in the waterfalls and relax
together in the hot springs.
Bontoc Village Museum
Mountain  The Bontoc Village Museum (Bontoc) is
Province located within the Catholic Sister's
Convent and Saint Vincent's Elementary
School.
 Inside the museum, one you can
appreciate the unique richness of Igorot
life.
Hanging Coffins
 Sagada Hanging Coffins is definitely one
of the most popular tourist destinations
in Mountain Province.
 The elders carved their own coffins from
the hollow logs.
Kiltepan Viewpoint
 It is a popular tourist destination in
Sagada where travelers will have the
opportunity to experience a good
morning in the municipality.
 This attraction became famous because
of the hit Filipino movie “That Thing
Called Tadhana”.

Festivals
Ullalim Festival
 It is a cultural festival that showcases the life
and culture of Kalinga through sports, art and
indigenous food.
 The Ullalim Festival is a celebration of the
beauty and uniqueness of Kalinga's flawless
culture that has attracted a large number of
tourists - foreign and domestic since its
inception in 1995.
Unoy Festival
 It usually celebrated on March 22-24 in
commemoration of the bountiful harvest of
red rice.
 This festival shows the best of the Tinglayano
and describes their cultural identity and
uniqueness as a Kalinga Tribe.
 "UNOY" is a word that means the "BEST", best
products, best customs and traditions and
best practices.
Matagoan Festival
 It is a cultural festival showcasing the different
cultures, traditions as well as the indigenous
and modern products of the various
indigenous communities of Tabuk City.
 It is celebrated in commemoration of the
establishment of the City anniversary in June
at Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City.
Lang-ay Festival
 Lang-ay Festival features food festivals where
everyone can share local food for free.
 "Lang-ay" which means sharing with the
people was developed as a celebration in 2005
to promote the province as an eco-tourism
destination.
 It celebrates the culture of sharing.
 In 2018 Lang-ay Festival also offers an avenue
for the people of Mountain Province to
benefit from government projects that include
training programs, scholars, and livelihoods of
the Technical Education and Skills
Development Authority.
Begnas Festival
 It is a thanksgiving festival of the Maeng
Tribe.
 In this festival Tubo’s people were enjoy, rest
from work and thank Apo Kabunian for a
prosperous year.
