Format
 Each section must be done on one page.
 Each section must be double-spaced.
 Font size is 12 inches.

Presentation of Data
 Present data as you were told on your excel sheet.
 Begin this section by stating how many surveys you received and how many you gave out. Then
proceed to graphs.
 Use the checklist to make sure you have all the requirements for tables and graphs.
 Remember descriptions should not be a summary or analysis. STATE EXACTLY WHAT YOU SEE.

 Titles of tables should begin Table 1. Titles of bar graphs, line graphs, and pie charts should begin Figure 1,
Figure 2, and Figure 3.

 All columns have headings that are bolded.  Both axes have title.

Analysis of Data
Introduction - First Paragraph
 Start by summarizing your population data. Example: Only girls were surveyed.
 Restate your purpose.
 State your thesis. In other words, answer your statement of the problem.
Body – Two to Three Paragraphs
 Summarize all the information from your survey. Group like ideas into paragraphs.
o Always include numbers or percentages (eg. 15 out 20 or 75%) when summarizing data.
o State why the data probably looks the way it does.
o Stat why this piece of data is important.
 Statistics may be included.
o The average of

 Words to be used are:
o The popular choice
o Most
o The preferred choice
o It is logical to assume

Findings
 State 3 main idea the survey revealed.
 Include percentages or numbers when making statements.

Recommendation
 State what needs to be done to deal with problem.
 State how it should be done.
 Two recommendation is needed.
