STATEMENT OF PROBLEM AND
HYPOTHESIS
Statement of problem:
 This study aims to identify the negative effect,
when they’re spending 3 to 6 hours on their
gadgets.

Hypothesis:
1.) Social media can lead students to addiction,
due to the online games and entertaining videos.
2.) Social media can affect their eyes, due to the
radiation of gadgets.
REVIEW OF RALETED LITERATURE
 According to Smith (2013), although the famous
Facebook site created by Mark Zuckerberg dominated
the social networking world today because of its
services that enables its users to post their thoughts,
share their ideas, play games and even talk with
different people, these kind of sites started from a
simple form of online communication known as The
Bulletin Board System (BBS). This site might not be
recognizable as a social networking site because it does
not have the services to offer to their users like sharing
or posting photos, but the main feature of this sites is a
large chat room for different people getting to know
each other. After the BBS, came the World Wide Web
in the mid-90s that has more attractive pages and were
made easier to visit. From then came the different top
networking sites known today that are used not only by
the kids or teenagers, but aloso the adults and oldies.
RESEARCH DESIGN
 This study is designed as a quantitative study, aimed at
collecting and analyze data from senior high school
student in bsanhs. Through survey, we are be able to
gather response from senior high school students in the
most convenient way. Descriptive research is the most
convenient approach for this study, because it’s
describe the current status of the negative effect of
social media to shs (senior high school) students. This
study collects and analyze students existing thoughts on
the negative impact of social media.
