 According to the story "A Question of Dowry," there was a scenario where Mr.

Thiruchelvam questioned himself about whether a man needed to have a wife and a decent

dowry. This is because he believes that having a wife who is financially secure can help him

maintain and manage his life after marriage.

My reasonable opinion is that it is important to have a life partner who has a financially

stable position because, first we will be prepared for whatever it is that life throws at us soon.

When it comes to finances, the last thing we want is to be caught off guard. Practice being honest

about the money is crucial skills.

Second benefit of being financially stable is that we'll be able to rely more on each other.

Showing future partner that we are concerned about their needs by prioritizing them over our

own will definitely go a long way. This kind of financial skills will avoid us from overspending

and not noticing that we don't have enough money to pay the utility bills or other important

payments.

The last reason why financial stability is important in a relationship is that it allows one

person to identify others person financial warning signs. We can identify the partner's negative

financial patterns. If the partner is afraid to discuss financial in a healthier way, we can consider

breaking up. It is important to discuss to partner in order to have a solid relationship.

The story teaches us that the dowry system is good as long as it is not considered a gift

given to the bride by her parents. Moreover, we must be financially strong before we enter a

more serious relationship, so that we can resist any problems that may come and maintain a long-

lasting relationship.
