Through this letter I would like to explain the purpose of pursuing the Masters in Advance
Civil and Structural Engineering at University of Bradford, UK. Since childhood I have been
inspired by the grandeur engineering masterpieces including concrete design, large concrete
structures and various types of sustainable foundations. I wanted to bring myself in the same
field in which I got quite success. My name is TAYYAZ MANSHA from Pakistan and I am
personally very ardent about my field. Previously I have successfully completed my BS in
Civil Engineering & Technology from well-known university named University of Lahore.
After getting bachelor degree I started to look for higher studies. As my parents and relatives
are aware of the advantages of the higher education and they motivated me from day one for
getting education. After deciding for study further I started the institutions and possibilities
available in my motherland and other countries which can help me to grow faster and then I
got to know about University of Bradford offering courses related my interest. The institute is
well reputed in the world so I chose this university to continue my study in University of
Bradford, UK. I read through the student recommendations for the University of Bradford,
and I was extremely pleased with their evaluations, due to which, I decided to attend the
University of Bradford. It is a public research university explicating its excellences since
1966. Another incentive to pick it is that University of Bradford is located in one of the most
interesting city of UK. This community is made up of welcoming individuals who are
inspired and driven to learn as well as teachers and creative thinkers. This university is
providing wide range of courses for professional qualification and both full time and part time
to facilitate the students. The University of Bradford is one of the best universities in London
for teaching quality. The knowledge and skills provided by this university are impressive as it
provides opportunities to gain additional, highly regarded professional projects, management
qualifications and applied research projects. It also supports career progression of its students
and provide 12 months’ industry placement. Environmental sustainability of University of
Bradford is also attractive for knowledge seeker from all over the world. This university
claims to teach critical thinking abilities and decision-making skills which are fascinating for
a student in love with project management. Their industry projects, progressive modules and
project management dissertations are also the reason that I am applying in the University of
Bradford. I have done extensive research on studying abroad, and I believe the United
Kingdom is the best fit for me. I visited numerous advisors, went to numerous educational
fairs, and also solicited advice from my elders. I was able to think of four countries after
unending effort. They were Canada, the USA, the UK, and Australia. There is little doubt that
each of these nations has established its own standard for high-quality education. Considering
the benefits and drawbacks of studying in these nations, I opted for the UK instead of them.
UK provided me with what I was seeking for. It is a secure nation that offers excellent
education at a reasonable cost. There is no point in disputing the fact that the UK's
educational system is one of the most spectacular in the world and has been upholding its
high standards under tight government regulation. Additionally, the UK uses a practical
teaching approach, the most up-to-date tactics, and an updated curriculum to prepare students
for the workplace. This increases the likelihood that a student will join one of the world's top
firms. My professional prospects will be improved by the program's knowledge-building in
Advance Civil and Structural Engineering areas. I'll get the chance to pick up some fresh
knowledge in this field of studies. I should anticipate receiving training in both the academic
and practical facets of civil and structural engineering, as well as being challenged to hone the
necessary research techniques to evaluate and assess the arguments made in the context of
these concerns. The course MSc Advance Civil and Structural Engineering in University of

and energy, in order to enhance the quality of life, for current and future generations, is a key
aim for civil and structural engineers. I am certain that obtaining this degree will increase my
talents and broaden my knowledge in both theory and practice. My home country will make
use of this degree. I am certain that my MSc advance civil and structural engineering would
prepare me for a senior position in any renowned company in Pakistan when I have
successfully completed my degree. I owe my country because I have lived here all my life.
My parents have always supported me by being here in Pakistan. I can't simply ignore them.
I find it impossible to be away from them for too long. I will be greatly missing my family
throughout my brief visit to the UK. After I finish my studies, I want to apply my education
while continuing to live with my family in Pakistan. My family has always counted on me to
take care of them as they age and to pay for their needs. To practice law and have the luxury
of spending time with my family is what I want most in life. I will have a range of job options
after receiving this degree, including civil and structural engineer etc. I'm hoping to finish the
program on schedule and then return to Pakistan to serve my own country. In order to ensure
my future in Pakistan, I strongly hope that I would be offered the chance to study in the UK.
