Dear Student,

My name is Whitney Lewis, and I am so happy to be your pen pal! I

am a student at Western Michigan University, studying to be a
math teacher. I would love to teach middle school students, where
you will be soon! How has the school year been so far? What is
your favorite subject? Mine is math.

For fun, I love to play with my dog and teach her new things. Her
name is Swayze, and she is a hound dog. We run together, play
fetch, and she can do lots of cool tricks! Some other things about
me are that my favorite color is green, I love cookies, and I used to
live in Las Vegas! Have you ever been? What are some things that
you like?
