In this lesson, something new will be tried, Brainstorming. With the concept map mentioned above, we are going to
do that. After brainstorming, if some parts of the concept map are missing, they will be completed. Then, the
teacher give students feedback about the brainstorming. As for the dialogue, the teacher will give different
dialogues to each pair and those dialogues will be studied by students. So, it is not exactly about Audio Lingual
Method however, it is nevertheless at some point. Finally, two texts from the coursebook will be read and the
questions below them will be answered by students.

Λ Summary
In this lesson, types of movies and some specific words and phrases about them will be covered. As usual, ALM will
be used as the method. Also, brainstorming in related to the concept map and reading will be included to today’s
class. Finally, different dialogues will be read and comprehended by pairs.

 A quiz which consists of multiple choice questions
 A project that will be done by using creativity

Λ Measurement & Assessment Activities for Each student will take an quiz with multiple choice
Individual Performance questions. Time will be announced afterwards.
Λ Measurement & Assessment Activities for A project which will be done as groups of 3. Students will
Group Performance prepare a game, a toy or a chart and so on by using their
creativity and the project can be about today’s topic or the
other topics in this relevant unit.

In the first hour, the topic will be introduced however, students will contribute to this with a brainstorming activity.
Then, the teacher will show the actual concept map and they will discuss it. After that, the teacher will explain what
type of movies there are. As for dialogues, each pair will be given dialogues about different types of movies and they
will study it and perform it. As the final part, 2 readings from the coursebook will be done, so that it can be
understood how much they can understand the texts and how much accurate they pronounce words and next week,
there will be a quiz covering the relevant topic and after the next week, projects covering the whole unit will be
presented in class.

If the topic of today cannot be covered completely, the reading part will be given as homework and a little oral
exam will be done and it will not be graded.
