PROJECT PROPOSAL

Project Title: COMPLETION OF FOUR (4) MAKESHIFT CLASSROOMS AND

BASKETBALL COURT

Background of Proposal:
Datu Bitol Mangansakan Memorial High School started its existence at zero property. To
start the operation, it maximizes the two (2) classrooms lent by Datu Bitol Mangansakan Elementary
School as the temporary classrooms without any chair/bench that could give comfort to the students.
However, the school head possessed the affirmative insight on school improvement, and this was
coupled with the boundless assistance of the local stakeholders that brought the school to the apex of its
progress currently. It started from Zero (0) property and for a matter of more than eight (8) years of
gradual improvement now the school shines and on top of other contemporary institutions. Through the
devotion and commitment of the determined teachers and the supportive stakeholders, DATU BITOL
MANGANSASAKAN MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL stands as the center of attraction of the barangay
and the venue of change. The different structures constructed in the school premise are the output of the
initiatives and support of the different stakeholders from various places, but this could not totally
answer the needs of the school. Moreover, our constant linkages with the stakeholders always continue
with the positive outlook that even in a simple way, they could extend assistance to the school.
Classrooms are the primary need of the school, and our concern is to complete the staggard
construction of the different makeshift buildings we have started to construct. Secondly, is the
Basketball Court which contributed a lot in enhancing the skills of students in terms of sports and it is
part of developing the totality of student’s well-being. It has the partial construction, and the
completion of this sports venue is depending upon the support of the stakeholders that we can
accumulate.

Financial constraint is the prime reason why there are unfinished projects constructed and
due to these, we are building rapport to our stakeholders for the benevolence or any charitable act they
will extend to the school.

Project Objectives:
1. Inform the stakeholders on previous and present status of the school in terms of infrastructure,
academic and non-academic accomplishments.
2. Alleviate student’s performance through conducive and decent classrooms and standard sports
venue girding to global competitiveness.
3. Optimize support of stakeholders for the development of the school.

Target Recipients:

1. School- Datu Bitol Mangansakan Memorial High School the existing school in the community
that needs financial support.
2. Students- are learners came from different barangay/community influx together in DBMMHS
due to its commendable performances. Increase of enrolment annually is the core problem of
 the school. Five Hundred Sixty-Six (566) students are currently maximizing the seven (7)
classrooms even with unconduciveness of environment.

3. Teachers- Nineteen (19) unequalled and talented teachers comprise the teaching force of the
school. They originated from different and far places bringing herein the beacon of hope for the
welfare of students and the community.

Value Proposition:
Datu Bitol Mangansakan Memorial High School advocates peace education as part of its
curriculum. It is one of the Schools of Peace in the municipality of Pikit. It embraces the culture of
peace in every angle of endeavor especially in school activities. Giving emphasis on culture and
practices, the quality and quantity of accomplishments, provision of materials/facilities needed will
surely usher to wholesome learning of students in DBMMHS. Above all, the provision of conducive
and decent classrooms and quality sports facility capsulize the total success of the students and the
school. Hence, completion of Four (4) Makeshift Classrooms and Basketball Court are the proposed
project we are proposing to any Non-Government Organization (NGO) for the boundless financial
assistance.

The first makeshift room in First Makeshift Building (Rm 1).

clinic and isolation room in preparation for face-to-face classes.

4th Makeshift Room in 2nd Makeshift Building (Rm4). Partial construction was made due to limited
budget and financial support.

UNDERCONSTRUCTION BASKETBALL COURT

One-third (1/3) of the court is already cemented.

 The remaining Two-Third (2/3) portion of uncemented court.

The stock of sand files in the perimeter area of basketball court are ready for filling.
