Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
After the students are given notes consisting of pictures and words of the food and beverages prepared by
the teacher, the teacher will reflect the same note on the board via projection. After introducing the food
and drink, teacher will ask his students to repeat the words together for correct pronunciation. After this
part is over, concept map will be displayed in order to classify what is taught and make it more
understandable in the minds of the students. Then there will be Q&A and only the pictures of the food and
drink will be shown and the students will be asked what they are. At the end, the lesson will end with the
matching activity that the students will do individually.
Back-up Plan: In cases where projection, Piktochart and concept maps cannot be used due to technological
reasons, printed copies will be used for the food and beverage pictures that will be asked to the students in
the lesson. The concept map will be drawn on the board. In order to apply the matching activity, the teacher
will use worksheets consisting of matching activities. The worksheets and printed copies will be prepared
before the lesson and brought to the class in case anything goes wrong.
