     If you were the lawyer who presided the case of the land dispute in Calamba, will you

    side to the Dominicans who have done you favors to keep your position, or to your fellow
    townsfolk who demand an explanation to why Dominicans were keeping secrets to them
    regarding taxes and land ownership? Justify your answer.

    In the case of the land dispute in Calamba, if I were the lawyer, I would side with my fellow
    citizens who want to know why Dominicans were hiding information from them regarding taxes
    and land ownership, even though Dominicans had done me favors to protect my position. This is
    due to the fact that everyone has a right to know the truth.
