Re : LETTER OF DEMAND FOR THE SUM OF RM220,000.00 FOR

REMEDY OF LOSSES DUE TO PROFESSIONAL NEGLIGENCE

Referring to the above matter, we are authorized by our client Baba Finance in which you has
been appointed as one of their panel solicitor firms.

1. We hereby inform by our client that your firm were responsible in taking legal action
against Boboi Sdn Bhd for the default in payment. On the date of the hearing for leave
of an appeal made by Ms. Chan Chin Chin against our client, you have failed to
appear in court which subsequently resulted in the leave for the appeal being granted.
On the date of the hearing of the appeal proper, you had attended the court unprepared
and caused our client to lose the appeal.

2. As the result of the failure, our client had suffered great losses. Therefore, we have the
instruction to hereby demand that you do pay to our client or to us as our client’s
solicitors the total sum of RM220,000.00 within FOURTEEN (14) DAYS from the
date hereof.

3. TAKE NOTICE that if you fail, refuse and/or neglect to settle the above said sum of
RM220,000.00 to our client or to us as their solicitors within FOURTEEN (14)
DAYS from the date hereof, we have strict instructions from our client to commence
legal proceedings against you to recover the amount of losses without any further
reference to you in which you may be liable for the costs and expenses incurred
thereby.
