ABOUT
NEXUS
If we recognise that every network can also be viewed
as an ecosystem, we can think of it as a circular,
interlacing nexus of binding relationships. Each body,
be it a form of art or knowledge, is knitted together in a
network of interdependence, however indirect the links
may be.

Nexus is an ambitious crossover of Culture and

Science, consisting of two major fests, the National
Level Inter-collegiate Cultural Fest: KRITYA, and the
National-Level Inter-collegiate Science Fest: OCULUS.
While aiming to provide a unique platform for
knowledge and talent alike, and creating a beautiful
meeting point of the two, we also encourage the
holistic expression of a student's passions.

Nexus attracts institutions from the fields of Pure

Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, Law, Management,
Commerce, Fine Arts and Culture, Literature, etc. A
variety of events, spread across domains of Performing
Arts, Science, Fine Arts, Technical, Literary & Speaking
Arts, Digital Arts, and Management & Business are
hosted over the span of 3 to 4 days with thousands of
students across the nation.

4
ABOUT
THEME
A SKETCHBOOK SYMPHONY

Through the depths of minds collectively came an existence,

both unseen and unexplored. The world that is beyond time and
space. A space where the limits of humanity are breached,
imperfections meet and art is transferred to memories. The
dimensions narrow as the vision expands. The world of an artist
still will sustain and stand. As an artist delves deeper into their
own mind, they are transported to a place beyond the
constraints of time and space. The dimensions of this Universe
may seem too narrow as the artist's vision expands, but it is one
that is enduring and will always stand the test of time. It is a
world where creativity and imagination can run free, unbridled by
the constraints of reality.

In a Shakespearean way, one could describe art, animations and

2D worlds as "a theatrical spectacle, captivating the senses and
transporting the viewer to fantastical realms beyond the bounds
of reality." Animations can be seen as a form of entertainment
that blends art, technology, and storytelling, creating a magical
and immersive experience for the viewer.

This year’s theme would be a celebration of the art of storytelling

and the power of the imagination to transport us to new and
exciting realms. It would provide a platform for students to
showcase their own creations and to share their stories with the
world.
