1. Choose and describe one (1) key element of total quality management.

- One of the key element of total quality management I chose is the

customer-focus. The first quality management principle starts with the customer.
This key element emphasizes the need of understanding one's clients, what they
want, and when they need it. While trying to meet, if it is not exceed, the
expectations of customers. Having a customer focus guarantees that your
consumer gets the benefit of the product or service you are giving.

2. Briefly explain how your chosen key element would contribute in maintaining
quality standards in the organization.

- Customrer-focus can contribute in maintaining quality standards in the

organization by Ensuring that everyone in the organization understands the
organization's customers, suppliers, and competitors. Determine your customers'
interests by fill out the form from them on a regular basis. Be open to make
adjustments based on consumer feedback and respond to them. This is at the
center of most businesses, since without customers, your company would be
nothing. Your consumers are important to your business, therefore you must
know the value of quality and try to achieve it.

3. Sight other ways in achieving total quality in the workplace.

-For me, the other way of achieving total quality in the workplace is arrive
early and be prepared. Arriving early or on time to work will show your
trustworthiness and commitment as an employee. Being punctual on a consistent
basis may also demonstrate that you follow professional standards, which can
increase your worth as an employee and help you develop your career.
