1.Do you think the five principles of effective oral communication were
followed?

- For me Yes, because former Philippines President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, executed and
exhibited some of principles thoroughly, he’s not just smart, but also aware, dignified
and a wise man about his subordinates and even the current events in the world during
his reign.

2.Which ones were followed? Which ones were not? Why or why not?

- For me, the awareness, responsibility, and respect while those that weren’t followed
are trust and creativity. It’s just based on my comprehension and from my perspective,
he talks about responsibility and honesty, he talks about the abundant dept of the USA
to China, and he talks about the how every country should protect their borders and
people with surveillance and security against transgressions. He said that he'll protect
his country and people from harm.

3.What advice would you give to make the speaker more effective?
Write you own thoughts on the space below.

- I think for me, he should be transparent and concise about his speech and he should
know broadly about his speech on how he could deliberate and articulate it well to the
audiences and lastly for me, he should be eloquently ceremonious.
