Job Description & Key Result Areas
To assist Product Manager in managing Product Portfolio & achievement of periodic revenue targets by
doing the following key activities
1. Consumer Understanding
a. Understanding consumer touchpoints to arrive at the right product GTM
b. Regular consumer interaction through FGDs, consumer surveys, market visits etc.
2. Retail understanding
a. Deep understanding of retail universe – category of outlets, no of outlets per category, placement
norms etc.
b. In-depth understanding of competition product portfolio
c. Conducting data analytics price segment wise and geography wise
d. Gathering product and market insights through regular interaction with customers and trade
4. Product Operations
a. Enabling sales team by ensuring timely product information dissemination
b. Consistent monitoring performance of all SKU in market and generating triggers
c. Tracking performance of products using standard statistic tools
d. Demand forecast for next 3 months at SKU level
e. Envisaging various marketing interventions like schemes, BTL and digital marketing based on deep
data analytics and market understanding
f. Recommending marketing interventions' business case and managing execution end-to-end
