Q14. There was a qs of blood relation involving Tokyo, China, Sydney, London
Don’t remember the exact relation but Tokyo was someone’s (Grandfather or
Grandmother).
Q15. There was a venn diagram type qs in which instead of 3 circles, one circle, one
rectangle and a triangle was there showing people liking for apples , oranges and
mangoes. Don’t remember the exact values but people liking apples was 48, total
people was given, and some more data was given and we had to find out the people
who likes mangoes ( easy).
Eg: this is not the actual one. But u can have some idea about it.

Q17. 2 tricky diagram based LR was given in which certain values(5 in each) were

was on a tougher side.

Q1. In a circular part of radius 14ft, there is a footpath of width 7ft along the
perimeter. Find the area of the path.
Ans: Two concentric circles with radii 14 ft and 7 ft. hence the area of the path
would be pi*14*14 - pi*7*7 = 147*pi (ans)
Q2.a/b = b/c = k, where k>1. And a+b+c = 78
What will be the value of a. (repeat 8th nov)
Ans is a=54?(8 Nov)
b=c*k; a=b*k=c*k^2
ck^2+ck+c=78
c(k^2+k+1)=78
78 can be factorised as 13,3,2.
Since k>1, putting k=3 we get c=6 hence a=c*k^2=6*9=
54.(ans)
Q3. Three friends roll 3 unbiased dice together. What is the probability of getting
one, two or three six simultaneously. (repeat 8th nov)
1 six = ⅙ . ⅚ . ⅚ (but it can happen in 3c1 ways and same for other two)

3 sixes = ⅙.⅙.⅙
Adding them up gives 31/216. (Ans).

Q6. A bus leaves station in every 30 min at the speed of 40kmph and the person
coming from the opposite direction meet the bus in every 20 min find the speed of

Q7. Log 2 value was given and we were suppose to find 2^66?( repeat 8th nov)
Ans. Log2^66=Log(66) ÷ Log(2)
Log(66)= 1.81954393554
Log(2)=0.301029995664
2^66 = k
66 log 2 = log k
66*0.3010=log k
19.866 = log k
k = 10^19.866
I think the question should be about the number of digits in 2^66 and the answer for
that is 197.

Q22. The profit was 20% on SP. The discount offered on the Marked Price was the
same as the profit percentage on the CP. Calculate what percent above the CP was
the marked price. (Ans: 66.66%, Please confirm it)
Ans- SP = 100
Profit = 20
CP = 80
% profit = 20*100 / 80 = 25%
Marked price = 100/0.75 = 133.33
% MP above CP = 133.33-80 / 80 = 66.66%
Q23. 2 Marbles were taken out of a bag without replacement. The bag had 3 red
marbles and 5 green marbles. Find the probability that the 2 marbles are of different

Ans - let distance be 30
Time = 10/35 + 20/75 = 58/105
Speed = 30*105 / 58 = 54.31
