D E V E L O P M E N T PROGRAM, AMENDING F O R T H E
P U R P O S E R E P U B L I C A C T N O . 7279, A S A M E N D E D ,
O T H E R W I S E KNOWN AS THE URBAN D E V E L O P M E N T
A N D H O U S I N G A C T O F 1992

Be it enacted b y the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the

Philippines in Congress assembled:

S E C T I O N l . S h o r t Title. - This Act shall be known as

the "Balanced Housing Development Program Amendments".

S E C . 2. A m e n d a t o r y P r o v i s i o n s . - T h e following
provisions of Republic Act No. 7279, entitled " A n Act to Provide
for a Comprehensive and Continuing Urban Development and
H o u s i n g P r o g r a m , E s t a b l i s h t h e M e c h a n i s m for i t s
Implementation, and for other Purposes", are hereby amended:

This Act which is a consohdation of Senate Bill No. 2947

and House Bill No. 4116 was finally passed by the Senate
and the House of Representatives on February 3,2016 and
May 23, 2016, respectively.
