This week, I got the chance to study more about Francis-Marie Arouet, generally known
as Voltaire, who is a highly intriguing intellectual. With his remarks and worldview, he showed
off his brilliance to a remarkable degree. Interesting is also how he perceived the world. In
addition, our reading and lesson this week's lesson on Voltaire was by far the most enjoyable
(Barron, 2017). I was a little surprised by the life he led and the difficulties he overcame to
become a philosopher. He was also able to use his sense of humor and awareness to make the
world a better place. In addition, he was able to act as a role model for others and work to
Voltaire's perspective on religion was particularly remarkable because he made use of his
intelligence to observe things from a new angle (Barron, 2017). For example, he was able to
view both the Roman Catholic faith and the French government, giving his critical opinion on
both. I thought this was really intriguing since it was a fantastic approach to show people the
value of religion and how it can be seen both positively and negatively. Additionally, it provided
The world can be such a diverse place if we want it to be, and that was the most
significant thing I learned this week. It is up to us to make the world the way we want it to be. In
a similar vein, I believe it is beneficial to learn about various cultures, religions, and other
significant facets of the globe. I've learned a lot in these last two weeks thanks to this training. I
gained a lot of knowledge about a number of important philosophers and the many ways they
attempted to alter the world. In general, philosophers have a unique role in the world.
