Change
Parameter Values
Using SCU PLC

Prerequisites

This guide assumes that the steps in

HowTo_GettingStarted
HowTo_UpdateSCUFW

has been followed.

1) Open CoDeSys V2.3

a) Follow the instructions in

HowTo_OpenCoDeSysProject

b) Log in to the SCU PLC

2) Open the list of components

a) Open the tab “Resources”

b) In the folder “Global Variables” there is an object called
“ComponentParameters_Variables” with the component
parameters available.
c) Expand the Spreader type parameters by clicking the
uppermost ”+” sign
3) Select a component parameter

a) Expand the component of interest by clicking the ”+”

b) Expand the component parameter of interest by clicking
the ”+”
4) Edit a value

NOTE the difference of editing ”value” and ”factoryvalue”

• Factoryvalues are used to allow the user to reset all
component values to factory settings
• Values are the values the components currently are
using
a) Click the wanted value and edit it in the popup box
