DNA profiling was first developed in 1984 by Sir Alec
Jeffreys which led to the first use of dna testing in a criminal
case. In modern day society, DNA testing kits are widely
available . For example companies like 23andMe and
AncestryDNA. These companies use DNA sequencing to see
one's anatomy.The result is images, captures in strings of
0,1,A,T,G and C. Bits of computer and biological code.This
information is compressed,the type is lossless compression.

Benefits of using DNA kits is finding out
ethnicity,ancestry, confirm or rule out specific genetic
diseases or chromosomal problems like cancer and etc.
Harms of DNA kits is that with the addition of digitized
DNA provides hackers with another target to exploit .
Goals of Digitizing of DNA
There are different purposes for digitized DNA.The
Public uses for digitizing DNA when the buy DNA kits,
to find their ethnicity,and Ancestry or in a medical sense
it can find mutations in your genes, chromosomes or
proteins. This is all possible by sorting the DNA and
compare them to others.

know what gender their babies are beforehand, people
would find too late they’re cancer patients, criminals
would never get caught and etc.
