VICTIMOLOGY Instructions: The questions are provided, kindly explain what are being asked! Create a
scenario involving the different theories of victimization.

1. Routine Activities Theory

The notion of routine action is founded on the assumption that anyone with the opportunity can commit
a crime. According to the argument, victims can choose not to be victims by not putting themselves in
situations where a crime could be perpetrated against them.

2. Lifestyle Theory

According to lifestyle theory, certain people may become victims of crimes as a result of their lives and
choices. A person with a gambling or substance addiction, for example, could be used as a "easy victim"
by a con artist.

3. Deviant Place Theory

According to the deviant place idea, being exposed to dangerous areas increases one's chances of
becoming a victim of crime. In other words, a mugger is more likely to target a person walking alone in a
poor neighborhood after dark.
