I. Objective
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
a. identify the components of hardware devices;
b. appreciate the use of computer device; and
c. manipulate the components of hardware device.

II. Subject Matter:

a. Topic: Computer Hardware Devices
b. Materials: Visual Aids
c. Reference: k to 12 Basic Education Curriculums, Technology and Livelihood Education,
Learning Module, Exploratory Course for Grade 7.
d. Time Allotment: 60 minutes
III. Learning Procedures

Let us all stand and pray,

Before you take your seats pick up the litters on the ( students will pick up the litters under the
floor. chair)

Let me check your attendance.

Secretary, Who’s absent from the boys?
How about from girls? ( secretary will tell whose absent/s)

Bring out your notebook and pass your assignment (students will pass their assignment)
forward.

Let us review our previous lesson. ( students will answer the questions)
What is computer system? What are the elements of
computer system?

b.) Motivation

Class, I have here a jigsaw puzzle. I want you to solve

this puzzle within 5 minutes. Students will be grouped into 5

Group yourselves into five, “the teacher will group

according to the seating arrangement of the students”.

Cooperate with your group mates to easily solve the

puzzle. Students will go to their respective groups)

Class, remember that each puzzle piece is important.

If you missed one piece of the puzzle then the picture
cannot be completed.

Now class, what object was formed when you put the
puzzle pieces together. (one student will answer the question)

After putting together the puzzle pieces, the object

formed are examples of hardware devices of a
computer.
