Through the use of communication networks, telerehabilitation has recently made it possible for

medical experts to assess, identify, and treat patients in distant areas. As a future physical therapist, I
approve of the usage of telerehabilitation application as an alternative way to do the job. To address the
current problem brought on by the coronavirus epidemic in 2019 or other pandemics that may arise in
the future, telerehabilitation is a solution that should be applied as soon as feasible to rehabilitation
systems. For the protection of patient privacy, it is crucial that telerehabilitation procedures be used
within the parameters of ethical norms. One of the main barriers to the efficient and widespread
implementation of these procedures is the absence of suitable legislative regulations and international
guidelines on the ethics of telerehabilitation. In telerehabilitation applications, ethical principles should
be considered, handled in accordance with the law, and discussed as well as any potential penalties for
breaking the law.
