The Lord God keeps | faith for- ev-er,

secures justice for | the op- pressed,
gives food to the | hun-gry.
The Lord sets | captives free.

The Lord gives sight | to the blind;

the Lord raises up those | who were bowed down.
The Lord loves the | just;
the Lord pro- | tects strang-ers.

The fatherless and the widow | he sus- tains,

but the way of the | wicked he thwarts.
The Lord shall reign for- | ev-er;
