(a), (c) (b) (d)

Sing to the Lord a new | song;

sing to the Lord, | all you lands.
Sing to the | Lord;
**| bless his name.

Announce his salvation, day after | day.

Tell his glory a- | mong the na-tions;
among all | peo-ples,
his | wondrous deeds.

Let the heavens be glad and the earth re- | joice;

let the sea and what fills | it re- sound;
let the plains be joyful and all that is in | them!
Then shall all the trees of the fo- | rest ex- ult.

They shall exult before the Lord, for he | comes;

for he comes to | rule the earth.
He shall rule the world with | jus-tice
and the peoples | with his con-stancy.

* This responsorial Psalm is used at the Mass on the evening of December 24, after First Vespers (Evening Prayer I)
of the Nativity.
** Omit reciting note; syllables are sung beginning on the passing notes.
