This role will allow you to take ownership of quality for assigned areas and lead efforts for the
overall quality in collaboration/negotiation with various teams to improve product quality coverage
and effectiveness. An ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to be able to work
closely with software developers and product to iron out any bugs in the product, and improve the
quality of the finished product.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application
platforms such as Mobile apps, Web and building test scenarios.
2. You’ll be responsible for understanding software internals, debug code, automate repetitive
tasks, and implement new tools and frameworks needed to streamline our quality process.
3. Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and
processes.
4. Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
5. Managing the final quality on production release.

Basic Requirements:
1. B.E / B.Tech degree in computer science or a similar quantitative field.
2. 4+ years overall SDET experience.
3. Excellent knowledge of Java.
4. Experience in banking/financial services/accounting preferred
4.Experience in Cucumber BDD Framework is added advantage
5. Hands on experience in Selenium/Appium/API automation
6. Design and build scalable automated test frameworks and test suites working across
technologies.
6. Experienced in installing, configuring and integrating Automation scripts on CI/CD.
7. Analyze test logs; create test reports, coordinate with stakeholders.
8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Position: Senior Software Developer
Location: Bangalore

Minimum qualifications:

● Bachelor in Computer Science or related field

● 2 to 6 years of experience in software development and full product life-cycles
● Coding skills in Java coupled with strong base in object-oriented design, functional
programming and development
● Experience in developing RESTful web services using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Play,
Dropwizard, or Java EE.
● Experience in distributed system design and microservices. Exposure to messaging queues
such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka
● Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL etc.) and designing schemas

Preferred qualifications:

● Excellent problem solving skills and understanding of Object Oriented Design and Patterns -
GoF.
● Awareness of SOLID, DRY (Don't repeat yourself) & YAGNI ("You Aren't Gonna Need It").
● Have expertise in writing testable code. Can write clean code and preach the same to team
members.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to mentor teammates and assist on the right practices
● Working experience with Docker/Kubernetes on AWS or any other cloud provider

Responsibilities:

● You will work on the core components of Furlenco technology stack - platforms powering our
web portal, mobile apps, our customer experience systems, the warehouse & logistics
management systems, billing & invoicing systems, payment infrastructure, risk & collection
system, pricing engine etc. You will be part of a rewarding and challenging startup
environment.
 ● You will be a highly technical hands-on engineer, engaging with staff and principal engineers
to work on the design and architecture of our systems. You will work with product managers
to plan and execute releases, and realize the vision of our next generation products.
● You will be hands-on with system design, data structures, relational and NoSQL databases,
RESTful web services, Object Oriented Design and Patterns, handling scale.
