Sir:

I am writing to your good office to ask an apology for not being able to appear in the
scheduled panel interview regarding the promotion that I sought. My health was not
really well that time and I was not able to go to work. As I take full responsibility for
the mistake from my side, I am assuring you that this mistake will not repeat itself in
the future. I regret for the inconveniences that I caused you and the panel. I was
deeply sorry for what happened.

I understand that this may affect my performance in the Ranking, but I am still hopeful
that you will give me another chance to be interviewed. In line with this, may I humbly
request to reschedule the interview for another date, as I would still appreciate the
opportunity to talk with you and the panel. I would really appreciate this if you consider
my problem and the circumstances which caused my absence. I hope you will give me
a chance to prove myself and my qualities.

Sir:

Please accept my sincere apologies for not attending the panel interview that occurred
last June 16, 2022. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that I may have caused.
The main reason for not attending the interview was my scheduled travel to Bohol
which was already booked two weeks before the scheduled panel interview. I had a
difficulty in rebooking since I was informed of the interview the day before we travel. I
really had no intentions to skip such an important appointment.

I am taking full responsibility of my absence and I am extremely sorry for keeping

interviewers waiting. I acknowledge my mistake and still look forward to get the
interview. With this, may I humbly request for a reschedule of my interview. I am
highly keen on getting the promotion as I have loved teaching ever since I started my
job. I hope that you will understand my problem and give me another chance.
