B. PROBE AND RESPOND
1. Review /Drill The teacher will show pictures with the different ways of propagating trees and will let the The teacher will ask what are the first 2 systematic ways of caring orchards/trees.
learners identify the ways.
Learning Episode 2:
Pre-requisite Skills The teacher will post picture of a child who is watering and cultivating. The teacher can do this Th teacher will show different kinds of fertilizers and the learners will give a guess on the names of the fertilizers.
also through a game act it out!
A. Modelling The teacher will discuss the systematic ways of caring orchards/trees. The group will have an activity on preparing an Organic Liquid Fertilizer using the materials prepared by the teacher.
Ex. Watering – the teacher will discuss the importance, the correct ways and number of times (note: Prior to this activity the teacher will divide the materials/ingredients so that their will be enough ingredients in all activity)
needed in watering. The teacher will post steps and let the group do the steps together.
The teacher will also do the same for cultivating. The teacher will allow the learners to read and lead in the making of the fertilizer.
The teacher will let the learners to ask and clarify some concepts.
The teacher will let the learners clarify some concepts and will let the learners ask some questions
about it.
Learning Episode 3:
A. Guided Practice The teacher will have pairing activity based on the level of the learners: The teacher will have pairing activity based on the level of the learners: (based on the teacher’s observation)
The first pair will perform the first systematic way which is the watering. Each pair will do the steps.
The second pair will perform the first systematic way which is the cultivating.
The teacher will monitor each pair and cater their needs.
This will be done in the outside of the classroom using the planted banana trees.
The teacher will guide the learners in dong the activities.
B. Independent Practice Each learner will perform the first systematic way of caring orchard/trees. Each learner will do a simulation of performing of the preparation of a liquid organic fertilizer.

Learning Episode 4:
A. Evaluation Each learner will perform the first systematic way of caring orchard/trees. Each learner will perform steps in preparing liquid fertilizer.
B. Assignment/Project The teacher will assign learners materials to be used in the next activity.
V. REMARK

VI.REFLECTION Reflect on your teaching and assess yourself as a teacher. Think about your students’ progress this week. What works? What else needs to be done to help the students learn? Identify what help your instructional
supervisors can provide for you so when you meet them, you can ask them relevant questions.
A. No. of learners who earned 80% in
the evaluation.

B. No. of learners who require

additional activities for remediation
who scored below 80%.

C. Did the remedial lessons work? No.

of learners who have caught up with
the lesson.

D. No. of learners who continue to

require remediation

E. Which of my teaching strategies

worked well? Why did these work?

F. What difficulties did I encounter

which my principal or supervisor can
help me solve?

G. What innovation or localized

materials did I use/discover which I
wish to share with other teachers?
