"It has come to the notice of the board that certain unscrupulous
elements have created a website resembling the official CBSE
website www.cbse.gov.in.
"This fake website has been created with the address
https://cbsegovt.com/ and is blatantly duping unsuspecting students,
schools and parents by sending messages to deposit money for
creating and downloading the admit card for CBSE class 10 and 12,
2023 examinations," the board said in an advisory.
It asked the public and stakeholders to be "extremely careful and not
respond to any such fake messages and websites".
The board does not take any fees directly from any students or
parents for downloading admit cards, it added.
The class 10 and 12 board exams are slated to be held from February
15 next year. The board has, however, not announced the exam
schedule yet.

CBSE has issued a notification about a fake website that is asking
for money to create and download class 10, 12 admit card.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently
released a notification against a fake website of the Board that
asks for money for creating and downloading admit cards.
According to the official notification by CBSE, the fake website
resembles the official website and it has been created with
cbsegovt.com.
"It has come to the notice of the board that certain unscrupulous
elements have created a website resembling the official CBSE
website www.cbse.gov.in.This fake website has been created with
the address https://cbsegovt.com/ and is blatantly duping
unsuspecting students, schools and parents by sending
messages to deposit money for creating and downloading the
admit card for CBSE class 10 and 12, 2023 examinations," the
board said in an advisory.
The board has warned students and other stakeholders to be
aware of the fake website and respond carefully to any such fake
messages and websites. CBSE has further clarified that it does
not take any fees directly from any students or parents for
downloading Admit Cards for Class 10, 12 board exams or any
other exams.

Central Board of Secondary Education has issued notice against fake
website of the Board. The fake website with address cbsegovt.com
has been asking money for downloading CBSE Board Exams 2023
admit cards from students, schools and parents.
As per the official notice issued by CBSE, the fake website is blatantly
duping unsuspecting students, schools and parents by sending
messages to deposit money for creating and downloading the admit
card for CBSE Class X and XII 2023 Examinations.
The Board has asked the students and other stakeholder to be
extremely careful and not respond to any such fake messages and
websites. CBSE has further clarified that it does not take any fees
directly from any students or parents for downloading Admit Cards for
Class 10, 12 board exams or any other exams.
Earlier the day, PIB had also called out the fake website which was
allegedly demanding registration fee from CBSE board exam 2023
candidates. The government agency had also informed that a
purported date sheet for the upcoming CBSE board examinations
(2023) is circulating on social media which is also fake.
Candidates and other are advised to keep a check on the official
website of CBSE which is cbse.gov.in for latest updates on any exams
or other information.

"This fake website has been created with the address
https://cbsegovt.com/ and is blatantly duping unsuspecting students,
schools and parents by sending messages to deposit money for

2023 examinations," the board said in an advisory.

Education, CBSE, has issued a notice informing students regarding a FAKE website. As
per this, https://cbsegovt.com/ is not the official website of CBSE and is fraudulent. The
notice further reads that the public is cautioned not to interact with this website or make
any payments.

CBSE INFORMS STUDENTS

Addressing the issue, CBSE said that the website with the address
https://cbsegovt.com/ is blatantly duping unsuspecting students, schools, and parents
by sending messages to deposit money for creating and downloading the admit card for
CBSE Class X and XII 2023 Examinations.

Students of Classes 10 and 12 are eagerly waiting for the board to release the much-
awaited CBSE Board Exam 2023 admit cards. Once the board releases the same,
students can check and download the same from the official website of CBSE, i.e.,
cbse.gov.in.

Further, for more information, students are requested to keep a regular check on
www.cbse.gov.in only and not any other website claiming to be CBSE.

New Delhi: CBSE has issued a fraud check against a fake website of
the Central Board of Secondary Education. In its tweet, the board
warned students that website: cbsegovt.com is not associated with
CBSE.The official website of CBSE is cbse.gov.in.The tweet further
said that students are advised to not visit the website and not pay any
ransom demanded of them in name of the board.
The fake website has been demanding registration fees from students.
"This fake website has been created with the address
