RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

April 2022 – August 2022 Undergraduate Research Thesis: Design and Construction of Smart Hydro-
photonics Farm System using I.O.T device.
 Design and model the farm using MATLAB and SOLID WORK software.
 Proposed the I.O.T systems that monitors and control all parameters of hydroponics
system such as water level, pH, humidity, temperature and ESP8266 micro-controller
that controlled the pumps.
 Observed how fast the farmer received SMS when the water level falls.
 Determined the correlation between hydroponics smart farming and conventional
farming system.
 Handed out questionnaires to farmers who had tested hydroponics farming system.

April 2022 – August 2022 Smart Robotic Waiter for Restaurants

 A low-cost prototype was used to develop the motion control algorithm and the base
computer communication with robot main computer.

 The estimation of the encoders for odometry used and the avoidance obstacle were tested.

 Observed how the robot approached the table. Its transmission ID was captured by the robot
(pin 14, long image IR sensors reading ID command).

 Auto-correction of Robot positions are still being developed for finer docking of the robot to
the table.

2022  Developed a micro-controller to received input signal from an android device us-
ing an android application.
 The project uses HT12E encoder which converts 4bit data to serial input.
 Developed Bluetooth model for transmitting the output for which is fed to the
HT12d the serial encoder.
 The data received to the receiver end of the port operate the motors through motor
driver as being required by the microcontroller interfaced.

April 2022 – August 2022 Disaster Rescue Robot

 Designed and constructed the robotic frame using electrical black box.
 The RX pins of ardunui was connected to TXD pins of ardunui board.
 Observed the data readability by using Bluetooth connected to the ardunui board.
 Several results were obtained during Bluetooth synchronous frequency testing.
 The sevor motors load testing was carried out in different position and the robot
worked efficiently.

April 2022 – August 2022 Ardunui Smart Control Robot Car

 Attached the wheels and motors on the chassis.
 Glued the battery holder and attached the motor driver circuit.
 Positioned the ardunui on the chassis and fixed the wiring.
 Connected the ardunui to the computer and uploaded the code.

April 2022 – August 2022 Sign Language Translator Using Machine Learning
 Image acquisition acquired through the available data set.
 Image processing to eliminate unwanted noise and enhanced quality of the image.
 Segment and extract the region of the interested from the entire image.
 Feature extraction which transformed the image region into the feature vector for
recognition.
 Matching the features vector of the new sign image with the stored features in the
database for the recognition of the given sign.
