By the end of the lesson, students will:


- have learnt about 10 new words related to Tet holiday in Vietnam.
- have practiced reading to identify specific information (scanning) by:
 finding the meaning of words in the text.
 basing on the information in the passage to decide whether statements are true
or false.
 answering seven questions related to the passage.
- have talked about their own last Tet holiday.
- have valued the traditional customs of Vietnamese Lunar New Year holiday.
