the students and
| Online Classes | | Online learning is used to

in the middle of a pandemic,
but not all students have the
ability to study using this
method.
the reason why this issue exis
is because of the sudden
lockdown due to the
pandemic, and since the safety
of the students and teachers
our top priority, itled to the
decision on having online

ACTIVITY 1.2 Analyzing Situations
| situation 1: You work in an office that has a water cooler. The water cooler has a capacity of twenty gallons of water. Your
{boss asks you to figure out how many refills your office will need every month because she's trying to do the budget.
| What method you would use? (Qualitative and/or Quantitative) Why?
i -We shall utilize quantitative in this case. Given that the boss has asked for a number, this is the best line of action to
take. Itis preferable to submit an accurate amount to the boss using this way since they need to know how many refills
| will be necessary each month in order to build the budget.
Situation 2: You have just opened your first new restaurant. Your restaurant has been open for several weeks, and so far,
and it appears that your customers are enjoying themselves. But you want more information. You want to get feedback
from your customers on their dining experience, specifically their opinions on your food, service, and ambiance.
| What method you would use? (Qualitative and/or Quantitative) Why?
-For this scenario, we shall use quantitative in the sense that we may represent it through generic figures, such like
randomly selecting a customer that can provide feedback to your business. In that way, you can collect data in the form of
numbers to learn more about your newly opened restaurant.
