29 N6 The minimum nozzle projection for the nozzles located on shell shall be as per PEC-EN-SDR-M-3224. For SR nozzles, Vendor to specify the nozzle projection.
30 The nozze located on top shall have minimum 700 mm projection. This is to ensure all nozzle flanges have adequate projection above top platform.
31 N7 Flange rating are specified in accordance with ASME B16.5 or ASME B16.47, Series B. Flange rating indicated in above table are based upon design pressure
32 and temperature conditions only, and do not account for other loads. The final design of all flanges shall account for gasket seating and external loads.

1 UOP NOTES Rev
2 U1 Operating condition for the Vessel are as follows:
3 Operating Pressure (barg): 0.37
4 Operating Temperature (°C): 83
5 Normal Liquid Level Vessel Center line
6 Specific Gravity 0.726
7 U2 Upper level nozzles positioned on the side of vessel shall be located 5% of vessel diameter from the top of the vessel.
8 U3 Insulate and Heat trace drop leg and drop leg head for winterizing.
9
10 GENERAL NOTES
11 G1 Unless noted otherwise, all vessels shall be designed to permit full hydrostatic testing fully corroded condition, in the final erected position with all dead loads
12 at operating condition (includes vessel, insulation, internals, platforms, ladders, external piping, etc., but excludes operating liquid, catalyst, packing, etc.)
13 and 25% of design winds
14 G2 When the vessel has internals or vessel surfaces of austenitic materials, the vessel Vendor shall provide a positive nitrogen pressure of 3 psig (20 kPA(g))
15 minimum on the vessels to provide protection against possible chloride attack by the sea water. Vendor is invited to submit alternate methods for
16 consideration. Vessels shall be assumed to be deck cargo. Manway blinds shall be marked "NITROGEN PURGED - DO NOT OPEN";
17 G3 Gasket used for hydro test shall be of the same material and size of the service gasket. Supplier to provide a separate set of gaskets for all covers during hydro test.
18 G4 Equipment drawings are subject to UOP / Lithuanian Authority & Orlen review and approval. Comments received shall be implemented by Vendor.
19 G5 Nozzles shall be located so that the nozzle and nozzle to vessel weld are at least 3 inches (75 mm) from all pressure containing shell and head welds.
20 If intersecting pressure containing welds cannot be avoided, the nozzle shall be fully reinforced and low stress welding details used (e.g., grind fillets to a
21 smooth concave radius). All pressure containing welds shall be 100 percent radiographed to a minimum of 6 inches (150mm) beyond the nozzle
22 to vessel weld.
23 G6 The inner edge of all manways and nozzles shall be rounded to 3mm (1/8") radius.
24 G7 All removable internals shall be designed to pass through top flanged head.
25 G8 All internals bolts shall be provided with double-nutting or by using self-locking nuts.
26
27 MECHANICAL NOTES
28 M1 Vendor shall design and supply setting bolts. Setting Bolt material shall be Grade 8.8 as per EN 1993-1-8:2005.
29 Allowable Tensile stress = 576 N/mm2 and Allowable Shear stress = 384 N/mm2
30 The minimum anchor bolt size shall be M24 (1”)in diameter. 3 mm on diameter corrosionallowance has to be taken into account.
31 M2 Fixed internals carbon steel and low alloyed steel (up to 9%Cr) made shall have the full corrosion allowance on each face (in total 2 times the designed CA of
32 shell). No corrosion allowance will be given for removable internals made ofstainless steel (13%Cr and above) as also for those made of non-ferrous high alloyed.
33 Removable internals in CS shall have minimum half the shell CA applied on each face as per OL-TR-GR-001.
34 M3 Horizontal vessels shall be supported by two saddle supports fabricated to fit the outside surface of the vessel within the applicable tolerances. Saddles shall extend
35 over a vessel arc of at least 120o. Saddles shall not be placed over vessel girth welds. A corrosion or wear plate shall be provided between the saddle and the vessel
36 shell. The plate shall extend at least 2 inches (50 mm) in all directions beyond the saddle. The corners shall be rounded to a radius of at least 2 inches (50 mm). After
37 removal of free moisture from between the shell and the plate, the plate shall be continuously seal welded to the shell around the plate’s perimeter. At least one
38 1/4 inch (6 mm) diameter vent hole shall be provided in each plate section. Vent holes shall be tapped for future plugging. Vent holes shall remain open until the
39 completion of pressure testing. The vent shall then be plugged with a material adequate for the operating temperature but not be capable of retaining pressure.

12 PROCESS NOTES
13 P1 Design pressure is at top of the vessel and does not include static head corresponding to full of liquid.
14 P2 Vapor flowrate is considered as 5% of feed inlet flowrate. Physical properties (density, viscosity, vapour molecular weight, vapour compressibility) reported are
15 corresponding to stream 183. Flowrate, physical properties ( density, viscosity) of HC Liquid and water reported are corresponding to inlet stream 184.
16 Refer Licensor Doc. No. :- 9036975-B1-Stream Data Rev 01 / Contractor Doc. No. :- JI2048-974-PR-HMB-0001.
17 P3 Composition data for inlet stream 184 is provided which is as per Stream Data Summary Licensor Doc. No. :- 9036975-B1-Stream Data Rev 01 /
18 Material and Energy Balance Contractor Doc. No. :- JI2048-974-PR-HMB-0001.
19 P4 Feed inlet stream contains below contamintants :-
20 a). H2S:- 0.000728 mol % Total
21 b). Sulfur :- 320 Wt ppm of Liquid
22 c). Other Corrosives :- 0.000177 mole % NH3.
23 d). 20 Wt ppm Chloride level in Feed.
24 P5 All equipment component shall be suitable for - 36 deg C MDMT as per the ambient conditions.
25 P6 Heat conservation insulation thickness is 120 mm for insulating material as mineral wool with Thermal Conductivity = 0.05 W / m k.
26 P7 Unit turndown is 55%.
27 P8 Vendor shall note that vessel shall have a minimum design life of 20 years.
28 P9 Inlet distributor Type C shall be designed in compliance with UOP Drawing 3-183.
