• You can download the installer thru the link below.

• Please install STAAD.Pro v8i SS6 not earlier than the day prior “Day 1” of the seminar
so you can maximize the trial period. Trial version only lasts 14 days.

• This application only works on Windows OS.

• Make sure you do not have a pre-installed STAAD of the same version, or else the
licenses would overlap.
1. Open executable file

*installer will only

install the necessary
items listed here.
Skipping to item #11,

2. Uncheck this option (we

won’t be using the
miscellaneous softwares)

3. Click “Install”
 5. Select “I accept…”

4. Click “Next” 6. Click “Next”

7. To change installation folder,

click “Change”, then browse
for desired folder

8. Click “Next” 9. Click “Next”

10. Select “Metric Unit System”
11. Click “Next” 12. Click “Install”

*wait for installation

to finish
13. Click “Finish”
 14. Click “Close”

*take note of the

remaining duration
15. In desktop, open
the STAAD launch icon

16. Click “Try”

17. This window should appear after the
trial dialog box. So can now start your
structural analysis project
