Experience
September Research and Teaching Assistant, Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA
2021- My research focus is on "FPGA Virtualization for Neuromorphic Computing". FPGA
accelerators are gaining increasing popularity in both cloud and edge computing because
of their hardware flexibility, high computational throughput, and low power consumption.
The virtualization of FPGAs becomes extremely important to create a useful abstraction
of the hardware suitable for application development teams. Partial reconfiguration is a
key technique for FPGA Virtualization and Partial Reconfiguration technology enables the
inclusion of mutually exclusive functions during system operation at run-time in a single
device. I believe that hardware-software co-design is the future of reconfigurable computing.
I am gaining the most knowledge here, especially in neuromorphic computing, which is
considered an extremely niche area.
June FPGA Architect, Lattice Semiconductor, San Jose, CA
2022-October Creating a partial reconfiguration flow for Radiant, Propel and Propel Builder software
2022 (Devices: ECP5, CertusPro-NX).
September FPGA Engineer, Mindway Design, Milan, Italy
2020-August Design and prototyping experience using ZCU104, KC105, VC709 boards within Microblaze
2021 softcore processor. Register FIFO, AXI-4 Lite, DDR4RAM, Quad SPI, JESD204B (Tx-Rx),
Uart Lite, XDMA for PCI Express (4.0), Ethernet 10G, DDS Compiler, DUC/DDC, FIR
Filter, CIC Filter IPs design include digital front end and framework parts.
June 2020- Digital Design Engineer-Intern, BAYKAR Technologies, Istanbul, Turkey
September Implemented QPSK modulation on AD9361 communication systems using the Zynq ZCU-102
2020 board and the AD9361 module, and verified the signal on MATLAB.
February Researcher, TUBITAK, Ankara, Turkey
2020-June Using the ATMEGA 2560, realized the software that transfers the radiation data to the
2020 MATLAB Simulink by using the RS-232 protocol from the TES-1333R instrument and
measuring the temperature data from the DS18B20 sensor over the panel.
