(Travel Blog)
Christmas is a well-known Christian festival observed worldwide in December that is
famous for its decorations and Santa Clause. Christmas signifies "Feast day of Christ". It is a
yearly event commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ; it is held on December 25th as a cultural
and religious holiday by many people all over the world.
Christmas is quite important to me. The major reason is that we will be able to visit our families,
friends, and other loved ones on that particular day. We celebrated Christmas by throwing a
party for my friends, family, and classmates.
My buddies and I celebrated Christmas at the Estaca Beach Resort in Compostela. It was my first
visit. At that moment, I got the idea I was in Boracay. The water is beautiful and refreshing,
making it perfect for a summer vacation. The Estaca Beach Resort is a tropical haven. The lake
reflects the beautiful blue sky. The sand was a light brown tint that was pleasant to walk on with
bare feet. We opted to dine at the beach resort for lunch. After lunch, we changed into our
swimming suits, took some shots, and then drowned ourselves. Moreover, we exchange laughter.
We are so happy at that time, like we don’t have any academic or school problems. Yet, it was a
great experience for each one of us.
Our sister's birthday was on December 25th. She had a wonderful surprise for us on that
particular day. As we ate, at the restaurant she normally said that "sooner you will become tito's,
tita's, aunts, uncle's, grandma, and grandpa". However, we were pretty loaded at the moment, and
our second sister immediately yelled as she knew our sibling was pregnant. We really sobbed
with excitement. Furthermore, it was a wonderful Christmas present for me because I will be a
tita soon.
The New Year is celebrated with zeal, passion, and delight all around the world.
According to the Gregorian calendar, it marks the end of one year and the beginning of another.
This is a significant day for those who want to begin the new year with new resolutions,
optimism, and light.
We the performers met for a short blessing before the New Year's Eve countdown. We ate
kakanin, lechon, spaghetti, and other dishes. Then we talked briefly and laughed before heading
home to spend New Year's Eve with our families.
