CAT4 Assessment Results

CAT4 (Cognitive Abilities Test series 4) is an international benchmarking assessment used

worldwide and recognised by the KHDA. The suite of tests has been developed to support
schools in understanding pupils’ developed abilities and likely academic potential. It assesses
a pupil’s ability to reason with and manipulate different types of material through a series of
Verbal, Non-Verbal, Quantitative and Spatial Ability tasks. Results from CAT4 can help us in
intervention, monitoring progress and setting targets for future attainment.

The results of the assessment are given in a score. The following table explains the scoring
system:

Islamic Studies B Syed Bilal is a thoughtful and well-mannered  Working At Good
student who shows a mature attitude towards 
his studies. He participates enthusiastically in 
all class discussions with visible clarity and 
confidence. He has a great attitude towards 
learning~ and willing to know about Islam. He 
can recite Surah Al-Asar and understand the 
general meaning of the surah. He has great 
understanding about who is our Lord~ why 
Allah created us. some of Allah's beautiful 
names. In order to improve his Qur’an 
recitation he needs to recite more. May Allah 
bless him.
